We are delighted that all our guests have contributed to our apartment's Guests’ Book, giving their suggestions of what they have enjoyed and what restaurants and places they would recommend. The book also gives reviews of Tavira Garden and reviews of our apartment. These are some of their comments, which you can read yourself in our Guests’ Book.

Thank you for a lovely stay in your home from home apartment. Had lots of “chill-out “ hours on the balconies whilst the kids enjoyed “CBBC”

We have spent many years in Portugal but it was our first in Tavira. It was nice to do Portuguese rather than built up Portugal.

Tavira has exceeded our expectations in many ways. It has so much to offer, beautiful beaches, quaint little shops, walks, pastry shops and delicious food in so many restaurants – you’d need months to get through them all.

Tavira Garden offers everything you need. The apartment is beautifully maintained – so many thanks to Silvia and her crew and the friendly staff in the pool and restaurant.

We’ll definitely return one day.

Thank you so much for giving us your beautiful home which became ours for one very relaxing and enjoyable week here in Tavira. It is with great sadness that we are leaving.

Your apartment has exceeded our expectations from the description on your website. It had everything for our family from the sewing kit to the tennis racquets which we all used. We would love to return again and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

We were able to explore all the wonderful local beaches, resorts and Tavira town. Every restaurant we went to was lovely and they’re all so child friendly.

The highlight for my daughter was the recent opening of the Gran Plaza Tavira within walking distance.The Continentale Supermarket has everything.

I can only echo what has already been written about this superb apartment which is a credit to all the care and attention that Di and Terry have obviously put into it.

The Tavira Garden complex has been the perfect base for us to explore the area.

We have never been bored and whether playing golf at Benamor (6 Euros for 1 player and buggy), sightseeing or just relaxing at the many beaches, there has not been enough hours in the day! The new Shopping Complex is now open and is worth a visit. Restaurants are many and varied.

So all in all, a fantastic 10 days holiday that we do not want to end, and hope to be back for more!!

Well what can you add to the wonderful comments already written. The apartment truly reflects a second home, tastefully furnished, with an exceptionally well fitted kitchen. But I must agree that the main attractions are the two terraces. We spent many a happy hour with a good book lazing the hours away.

Tavira has kept us occupied for two weeks without feeling we are retracing old ground. All the restaurants we tried provided excellent food, but our favourites were O Patio and Beiro Rio.

Cabanas and Barril beaches are well kept, an umbrella is recommended. The ferry to Spain from VRSA provided a good day out. The visit to Rio Formosa Nature Reserve provided a bit of exercise and culture. The owners of the Portuguese water dogs were so enthusiastic it was great talking to them.

A wonderful apartment, truly an apartment and location that we will be happy to recommend to family and friends.

We have had a lovely holiday, the apartment is very home from home, very comfortable, with everything you need.

Tavira Garden is a lovely complex. We used both pools but preferred sunbathing by the smaller one. ‘Chill Out’ Restaurant serves good food and is great for morning coffee.

We enjoyed walking around Tavira. The atmosphere is lovely at night. All the restaurants we tried were excellent.

Would love to come back.

The apartment was lovely and indeed the two terraces providing shade and sun are a real bonus. It is so lovely to be able to eat outside and in the shade.
We enjoyed Tavira, so nice that it is traditionally Portuguese and has not been too affected by tourism.

We have had a lovely relaxing break here, blue sky, bird song, we truly felt we were in a garden. We found the apartment very comfortable. I couldn’t believe the Mark Simmonds harbour picture – just the one we have in the dining room at home. I can only echo what others have written - the two terraces providing sun or shade, made for a very relaxing and peaceful spot of sunbathing.

Tavira has a certain charm which is both traditional and welcoming. This has been our first visit to the Eastern Algarve (personally I prefer it to the Central Algarve) and hopefully it won’t be our last.

Thanks to Terry and Di for providing such lovely accommodation and a very useful file for guests, which was much appreciated.
