The apartment was exactly as we had hoped, and proved a lovely base for a relaxing break. The intention of our short break was rest and relaxation after a hectic first half of 2008. We achieved our goal 100% in an apartment that succeeds in ticking all the right boxes. Tavira town proved fascinating and is worth exploring.

The apartment was lovely and indeed the two terraces providing shade and sun are a real bonus. It is so lovely to be able to eat outside and in the shade.
We enjoyed Tavira, so nice that it is traditionally Portuguese and has not been too affected by tourism.

A great holiday! Tavira Garden is the classiest complex we’ve stayed on, and this apartment is definitely in the best position on the site – open views on three sides, and very quiet, though handy for all the facilities.

We love the apartment. It’s very spacious, comfortable and elegantly furnished with lots of personal touches. You can tell this is someone’s second home.

We agree with the other guests – the two private terraces are a real bonus. They are both very large with plenty of room for tables and chairs, loungers and BBQ. It’s great to walk out of the bedrooms to have breakfast on the terrace.

We’ll be back!

Thanks to Terry and Di for letting us stay in your “second Home” in Tavira. The apartment was very spacious, especially for a family of five, and the air conditioning made it very comfortable.

With a five year old, we ate in quite often so the amenities in the apartment were essential.

Our teenage daughters enjoyed the pool and tennis facilities and as a family we all enjoyed Tavira.

Firstly, a big ‘thank you’ to the Galvins for putting so much thought into ensuring a holiday in this apartment is so enjoyable and comfortable.

We, too, were grateful for the two terraces seeking shade and the best breeze on the hottest days.

The one big downside of this place is that we have to leave! But we will also recommend the apartment to friends and fondly remember our long, hot, happy sunny days here.

What a lovely apartment! We have really enjoyed our stay here. This ‘home from home’ provided us with the comfort and relaxation that we needed. Like the previous comments, we also enjoyed the use of the balconies, with many an afternoon spent lazing in the sun drinking a beer or two.

All in all a wonderful week and it’s a shame we have to leave. We will recommend to friends and families.

The apartment is lovely. It is obviously someone’s home as it is so comfortably furnished and well equipped. We wanted for nothing!
The availability of so many English channels is a real bonus.

We loved spending time on the two terraces – we could choose whether to have sun or shade from morning to night.

Tavira, which is within 15 minutes stroll, is an unspoilt, typical Portuguese town with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We enjoyed a wide variety of food at various restaurants, but equally enjoyed our barbecues on the terrace.

We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. We shall certainly book again and recommend to our friends.
