Faro airport is approx 30km away. Metered taxis are readily available. The journey by motorway to Tavira Garden takes about 30 minutes and costs around 35 euros. There is also a minibus service. All the major car hire agents are available at the airport, though it is cheaper to book in advance (we use auto-europe.com). Cars can also be hired at reception.
Tavira railway station links with Faro, and other parts of Portugal, and buses serve a wide area, including Spain. Taxis can be booked at reception.
       
The Spanish border, which can be reached by motorway, is approximately 21 km away, and Seville is about a 90 minute drive. Lisbon is about 3 hours away.
